Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Trust System POS software and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use our software.

2. License

Trust System POS grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the software on a single designated machine. The license is tied to the machine fingerprint registered during activation.

• The license is valid for the subscription period purchased
• Licenses may not be resold or sublicensed
• Machine migration is available upon request and processed within 24 hours

3. Your Data

You own your data. All transaction data, inventory records, and operational data are stored locally on your machine. We do not claim ownership of any data you generate using our software.

• Only summary data (revenue totals, stock counts) syncs to our servers for the remote dashboard
• Individual transaction details never leave your premises
• Employee PINs are never transmitted to our servers
• Home Account data never syncs to our servers

4. Payment and Renewal

Licenses are sold on a subscription basis (monthly or yearly). Renewal is manual — you will be notified 30, 14, and 7 days before expiry. After expiry, a grace period applies before the system enters read-only mode.

5. Limitation of Liability

Trust System POS is not liable for any loss of data, business interruption, or other damages resulting from the use or inability to use the software. We strongly recommend regular backups of your data.

6. Modifications

We reserve the right to update these terms. Continued use of the software after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
